Estevam Gomes

Illustrator & Graphic Designer

Estevam Gomes was born in 1990 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He holds a degree and a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from UFMG. His artistic production transits between drawing, painting and installations.

The interest in drawing comes from childhood but only in 2013 did it become a job. Since then he has created the visual identity of several local bands such as Dom Pepo and Lamparina and Primavera and events such as Duelo de MCs and Festival Dilúvio.

The places and people of the city are recurring themes in his drawings, whether representing them figuratively, serving as a support or as a starting point for the works.
